Somehow
Find it in your heart
To forgive
someone in late seasons,
enchanted by flowing hair gleam beauty,
And laughing smile
Stepped as sweet ginger, a foolish youth.
My heart sang when morning woke
With texts buzzing of Hola.
You are innocent.
I stumbled to a sirens song
sung in my dreams
Paid out in dim hotels,
played out in dim rooms
until I crashed on rock
Of my own design.
A friend is wonder and joy infinite
Who lasts longer than love's song.
I am spiced with joy,
Knowing a friend, who brings
Such a smile to my mind;s eye.
If my utters shamed,
Accept my bowed head
And please let me beg
Your friendship.
