Hate is never a cure for Hate

Trust me...I wasn't going all Hamas on ...........last night. But I do remember quotes from America's recent past:

" We should kill every last one of them and do our Country a favor"
"The only good ........ is a dead ......"
" Damn ...... ain't good for nothing. I say we kill 'em all! Let's vote, gentlemen!"

Finally printed in a newspaper:

"The PIONEER has before declared that our only safety depends upon the total extirmination (sic) of the......... Having wronged them for centuries, we had better, in order to protect our civilization, follow it up by one more wrong and wipe these untamed and untameable creatures from the face of the earth."

Americans at some point during our history have hated Blacks, American Native Americans, Irish, Catholics, Gays, Immigrants and many spoke of their annihilation.
George Bush's II's own Grandfather's bank traded with and helped Nazi Financing through his bank. Henry Ford was awarded the highest civilian award from Nazi Germany for his anti-Semitic views. Copies of Nazi pamphlets were in every American Ford showroom in American, until the US government decided whose side we were going to be on. There were many in this Country prior to WWII, that wanted to side with the AXIS powers against Britain. (Hard to believe, but true!)

Many US Companies received waivers allowing them to do continued business with the Nazi's even while the Nazi's were fighting the US in battle. These companies included Kodak, Bayer, Standard Oil and Chase Bank, IBM and more.

Hate, Hate Speech and Hate Groups run deep in our countries history. I am never going to support one nation attacking another unprovoked like Hamas is doing on the people of Israel.

But short of pleading for annihilation or genocide, I think there has to be another answer.

BTW, the quote from the newspaper was from the author of the Wizard of OZ, Frank Baum.

No, I am not pro-Hamas and yes, I do believe that your "rights" as an American can be scooped from you in the blink of an eye and it will either cost you your life (we see it every day in the paper) or it will break you in court costs fighting to get your basic rights back!
